70% Bamboo rayon / 30% Organic cotton
Our bamboo cotton is made from a luxuriously light and soft blend of bamboo and organic cotton. Bamboo is a Free Label favourite for many reasons. Bamboo is naturally organic, as it requires no pesticide to grow - in fact, it's considered a weed! It is also highly water efficient, making bamboo a sustainable organic material. It's also a great all-weather textile, as bamboo fabric is thermal regulating. This means it will keep you cozy in winter, and cool in summer. Pretty neat, huh? Some other reasons we love bamboo clothing, its breathable, anti-bacterial (great for working out!), oh-so-soft to the touch, biodegradable, and hypo-allergenic. Our bamboo is produced in a closed loop system and dyed with eco-forward dyes, ensuring no harmful chemicals released into the environment.
Free Label Organic Cotton yard is GOTS certified, and dyed with eco-forward dyes. While cotton requires notoriously large amounts of water for production, it is undeniably the best material for a classic t-shirt. Cotton is soft, durable, comfortable, and doesn't pill easily. Free Label Bamboo Cotton is knit, dyed, cut and sewn locally in Toronto, Canada. All Free Label textiles are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
